How to make announcements?

Step 1: Enter [Home Page]-[Announcements], click [+Add];

Step 2: On the announcement editing page, enter the title and content of the announcement, and the editing column of the content provides editing tools such as bold, italic, font family, font size, text color, underline, insert table, insert link, insert image, etc., which users can use as needed;

Step 3: After the content is confirmed to be correct, click [Save and Publish] in the upper right corner to publish the announcement to the candidates.

How to manage announcements?

Enter [Home Page]-[Announcements], you can see the list of announcements, and view the creation time and number of people who have read each announcement; at the same time, you can edit, top and delete announcements.

For candidates, how to view the announcement?

For PC: After the administrator makes an announcement, candidates can view the announcement under [System notice] after logging in to the back-end on the PC and entering [Dashboard]. At the same time, the number of unread announcements will also be displayed. The candidates can click the announcement directly and view the specific content.

For Mobile: Candidates log in to the back-end on the mobile, announcements will be displayed in a scrolling form. Candidates can directly click on the announcement to view the specific content.

How to publish an Article on online exam sites?

1. Create Article Category

Enter 【Home Page】——【Articles】，click 【New root category】, a category can be added after editing the name of the category, which is convenient for managing the articles;

2. Add Article

Step 1: Start adding the article. Firstly select an article category, click 【Add article】 under this category to start editing an article;

Step 2: Set the article cover. Users can customize the cover of the article, and it is recommended to upload a picture that corresponds to the subject of the article;

Step 3: Edit the title and content. The edit bar of the main text provides editing tools such as bold font, underline, adding tables, hyperlinks, pictures, etc.;

Step 4: Save and  publish. After editing the article, click 【Preview】 to preview the article and click 【Save and Publish】 to publish the article.

How to Manage the Articles ?

Enter 【Home Page】— 【Articles】, view the published articles and drafts. Operations are supported such as viewing, copying links, editing, deleting, and moving categories.

Enter the homepage, click 【Articles】, and the published articles can be viewed.

How to customize Home Page?

Sign in and enter the Home Page setting.

1 Header Information

Two settings on the header: logo and header title.
User can upload pictures in jpg. jpeg. png. with 183*53 pixels, not exceeding 200kb.

2 Display Contents

①Just show the student login page: when opening the home page, it only provides a login page for students to log in.
②Whether to show the unavailable exams: unavailable exams are those exams cannot be taken any more. Users can show them in home page to offer others a reference.
③About the showing exams, users can choose whether to show their taken times. Besides, you can choose up to 10 exam categories.

3 Banners

Users can add up to 4 groups of banners.
For website page: users can upload pictures in jpg. jpeg. png. with 1920*476 pixels, not exceeding 2MB.
For mobile page: users can upload pictures in jpg. and png. with 630*300 pixels, not exceeding 2MB.

4 Advertisements

Users can choose whether to show the advertisements. Users can upload 4 sets of advertising pictures and links.
Users can upload pictures in jpg. jpeg. and png. with 386*220 pixels, not exceeding 1MB.

5 Footer Information

At the footer, users can attach some contact information in provided 3 modules.
There are 3 modules provided in Online Exam Maker: Contact us module, Link list module, and Graphic module, for offering information like users’ phone number, address, company information, exam score inquiry and so on.

• Users can show their exams which have been created and the taken times to their home page. The title and taken times of the exams can be viewed.

• Users can set a custom domain by using corporate links to build their own brand. The link will be more secure with encryption.

• The pictures and links of the banners in the home page can be changed. Users can add some favourable pictures.

How can administrator set the score query code?

Login the system and choose one exam ,click [Setting];

Choose the [Result page], and tick [Can view the score query code], then save your setting.

How can students use to  inquire  their score?

After candidates complete the question and submit the test, the system will automatically provide the query code, just copy and save it.

When the administrator announces the time available for querying score, click the query entry at the bottom of the homepage and enter the query code to query personal score.

1. ADD A CNAME( ALIAS ) RECORD TO YOUR DOMAIN

What is CNAME?

All information, including subdomains, IP addresses, etc., are defined by the canonical domain.

We assume your domain was registered at Godaddy for a example to demonstrate how to add a CNAME record

login to your account, and click the manage button at the right of DOMAINS menu

Find your domain in the list, and click the menu at the right side of your domain

At the DNS ZONE FILE tab menu, click the Add Record link

In the add record window

Select the record type to CNAME, set HOST to exam for example, and set the points to blank to page.onlineexammaker.com and then click Finish button

At the end, don’t forgot to click the Save changes button to save your settings.

2. SETTINGS ON ONLINEEXAMMAKER

Sign in to OnlineExamMaker, click the personal page menu at the left.

How to upload your logo?

Firstly, login the system and click [Settings] on the left;

Secondly, select your logo picture and fill in your company name;

There are 3 ways to show your logo and name:

Only display company logo;

Only display company name;

display both name and logo.

What is more, you can add your website and choose whether to show on the system. After all the settings, click Save.

As what can be seen in the following picture, the logo and name will be shown on your exam.
